Job Summary:
Bison Commerce is seeking a Head of Digital Marketing to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and advertising strategies focused on selling our products on third-party e-commerce marketplaces like Amazon and Walmart, direct-to-consumer platforms like bisonoffice.com, and private label brands. You will formalize, market, and sell our programs and playbooks, create pitch assets for account managers, develop website content and sales collateral, and build case studies to showcase their effectiveness. You will manage the marketing budget, lead the marketing and advertising team, and manage external agency partners to drive revenue growth and profitability.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including supplier management and marketplace management, to ensure marketing efforts align with our business goals. This includes tracking key performance metrics such as ROAS and conversion rates to optimize campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed. You will be responsible for working with suppliers to promote and advertise existing products, as well as helping to launch new products in the market. This role will also ensure Bison Commerce remains competitive in a rapidly evolving e-commerce market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for selling products on third-party marketplaces like Amazon and Walmart, direct-to-consumer platforms such as BisonOffice.com, and any private label brands created by the company.
- Formalize, market, and sell our programs and playbooks, developing pitch assets for account managers, creating website content and sales collateral, and building case studies to demonstrate program capabilities and effectiveness.
- Work with suppliers to create marketing campaigns and promotional materials that advertise existing products, as well as the launch of new products, to drive long-term sales growth of suppliers products and brands.
- Oversee the marketing budget, optimizing allocation to maximize ROI and controlling costs across all channels.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics such as ROAS, conversion rates, and engagement metrics, and provide regular reports to the executive team.
- Lead and develop the internal advertising team by setting clear goals, providing coaching, and fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture.
- Manage third-party agencies, including A+ content providers and ad consulting firms, to ensure effective integration and performance.
- Collaborate closely with supplier management, marketplace management, and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing campaigns that align with business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, digital marketing innovations, and e-commerce tools, driving continuous improvements in marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and third-party service providers.
- Expertise in Performance Marketing: In-depth understanding of key performance metrics such as ROAS, CPC, CVR, and ACoS, with a proven ability to optimize campaigns for measurable results.
- Supplier Marketing Experience: Demonstrated success in building and executing marketing programs with or for suppliers or brand partners, ideally including vendor-funded initiatives.
- Strong Presentation & Storytelling Skills: Able to craft compelling narratives and pitch marketing programs to internal teams and external partners.
- Digital Marketing & E-commerce Knowledge: Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, campaign optimization, audience targeting, and performance analysis to drive ROI in an e-commerce environment.
- Experience in the U.S. Market (Preferred): Familiarity with the U.S. e-commerce landscape, consumer behavior, and marketing trends

Salary
4000 - 7000 €/mon. gross
The salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
